For expenses related to the purchase of equipment (fixed cost), in Resource Sheet view you can add a resource of type cost. Then, you can assign that resource to a specific task in Task Information dialog under Team tab.
How can I plan and control equipment orders and deliveries (logistics activities) in the project?

For material resources, in Resource Sheet you can add a resource of type material. Insert the material label and the Std. Rate. In Gantt Chart view or in Task information dialog you can specify the units for that specific material.
How can I see the resources grouped by resource type at a specific date in the project?

How to rename a resource?

In order to rename a resource, go to the Resource Sheet view and double click on the desired resource to open the Resource Information dialog. In the Resource Name field, type the new name of the resource and click "OK" in the dialog for the changes to take effect.
Can I add the same resource in two different teams?

With our current functionality a user’s email address cannot be assigned to two different teams.
How do I change the role for a team member from Read-Only to Editor?

To change the role for a team member from Read-Only to Editor, Sign In in our Project 365 Online Portal and in Team Members page change the role for the desired team member. Note: 
1. By default, the owner of the organization has the Editor role.
2. If you already purchased a subscription, please know that you need to purchase a subscription for each Editor team member.
3. You can add as many read-only team members as you need for free.

Where can I find resource ribbon?

When/How a Team Member become a Resource and viceversa?

When Team Member ‘John Smith’ is assigned to Task ABC in Project123 it becomes a local Resource to the project.

When local project Resource Mary Doe is added to the Organization XYZ it will become a Team Member and will be available to all projects in the organization.

You want to use Team Members any time you have shared people resources working in more than one project at the time so you can track their availability and avoid over allocations or under utilization.

You want to use local project Resources that are not Team Members only for material or equipment type resources.

There are 3 ways to add a note to a resource:
1. In Resource Sheet view click on the desired resource and go to Team – Notes.
2. Double click on ID cell associated with the desired resource in Resource Sheet view.
3. Insert the Notes field inside your table.

Where can I set Initials for my resource?

Information regarding resource's rates, including the standard rate, overtime rate, any per-use cost, and the date when the pay rate takes effect can be found by clicking the desired resource - Team menu - Information - Cost.

How do I use Resource Information?

In order to open Resource Information dialog, go on Resource Sheet view select a resource then go on Team menu – Information or double click on resource name cell or right-click the resource and select Resource Information.

How do I add the team members into my plans?

To add Team Members into the current project, select a task and go to menu Team – Assign -  Team Member. It will open the Assign Team Members to This Task dialog, which lets you select who do you want to add to the current project. Once you click Assign, all the selected Team Members are added as Work Resources into the current project.  

You can also add team members from Gantt Chart view, using the Resource Names column.

When you open the Resource Names drop-down menu, you will get a list of all resources in your project and the Team Members (marked with an icon). Note that all the Team Members are visible in this list (added or not). Selecting any Team Member in this list will add it to the current project (only once). If you want to add a new Team Member, click Add Team Member button. 

Another option to add team members in your project is to use the Resource Sheet view. 

The Resource Name editing control provides a list of not added Team Members and the “Add Team Member” button. If there are no Team Members to suggest, the button alone is displayed.

Is it possible to insert more than one resource at a time?

To insert multiple resources, select multiple consecutive rows using either CTRL or SHIFT keys on your keyboard and then press on Insert key or use the New Resource option from the contextual menu to insert multiple resources at a time. These resources will be positioned above the selected rows in the resources list. The number of newly inserted resources will be equal to the number of selected rows.​

How can I delete a resource?

To delete a resource, on the View menu click Resource Sheet – select the resource’s name or select the row that corresponds to the resource – press the Delete key or use the Delete option under the Team tab or right click on the resource’s ID and select Delete Resource.

How can I delete multiple resources?

To delete multiple resources, select multiple consecutive rows using either CTRL or SHIFT keys on your keyboard and then click on Delete option from the Team menu, or press on Delete key or use the Delete Resource option from the contextual menu to delete multiple resources at a time. The IDs of the remaining resources will be automatically renumbered.
