Can I open a project saved on Basecamp?

Opening files from BaseCamp is only available for Windows and Web. Go to File - Open and select Basecamp. Connect with your account if you are not already authenticated. There are several ways to open a project from the Basecamp file picker: 

  1. Double click on a project; 
  2. Select a project and click Open button;
  3. Right-click on a project and select Open in contextual menu; 
  4. Select a project and click Enter key.

To change the font color in Notes field, please insert the Notes column in Gantt Chart view by going to menu Format-Insert Column.Then, select the desired notes cell and change the font color using the Task menu in the ribbon.
Can I add Cost next to the bars in Gantt Chart?

If you want the Cost to appear in the Gantt Chart, please go to the Format menu - Bar Styles option, select the Text Tab. Then, from Right - select the column Cost. Press OK and the Cost will be displayed in the Gantt Chart.
How can I set the margins in Page Setup dialog?

In order to set the margins, go to the File menu - Print and select Page Setup option. Select "Margins" tab, configure the page margins to each side (top, bottom, left, right) by changing the corresponding values and click on "OK" button.
My team member need to have a paid subscription in order to read my master and subprojects located in my cloud Drive 365 folder?

You can add the team member as a read-only team member in our Online Portal and he can open the Master project file from Drive 365 cloud using his email and password. There’s no need to purchase extra subscriptions for read-only team members.
I would like to summarize the total cost for each subtask in the summary task. How can I do this?

The best way to achieve this is to use the Cost column.

The total cost is automatically calculated by the application in the summary task.

To enter the costs for a task you can either insert a value in the Cost field or you can assign specific resources to your tasks and the cost is automatically calculated.

Does this application sync with Outlook?

The Project Plan 365 application syncs with Outlook only for exporting the tasks from your current project to your personal calendar.

If you want the tasks in your project to appear with the Start, Finish and Duration fields blank, please set the schedule mode of your tasks to Manually Scheduled. In order to do that, go to the File menu - Options, select "Schedule" tab. From "New Tasks Created" field select "Manually Scheduled" and click on "OK".

If I change the 24 hour calendar halfway through the project, does it affect the other tasks timing?

This will affect the entire project. You can also set only just for some tasks another calendar by going to Task information dialog and in Advanced tab set the desired Calendar. By default, the Calendar is set to None so the task start and finish dates are calculated using the Project Calendar.

Note that these changes will not affect the completed tasks (100% complete) from your project.
